Back in February, Soompi had the chance to interview Block B prior to their controversial interview in Thailand. Due to circumstances, we had to push back the release of our video, but BBCs around the world rejoice! We have decided to treat our fans to the long-awaited interview.
Just like their music, the boys were upbeat, energetic, and fun. They gladly gave us a couple minutes of their time to chat after hours of rehearsals.
Ahhhh I have missed the antics of Block B so much!
I hope all the boys are doing well.
They have started tweeting again.
Maybe this is good news?
However since I had been doing the research for this post for such a long time, I decided to finish it up and post it up for you anyway.
*dusts off my soapbox*
Been a while since you saw me up here right? ^^
I guess the netizens beat me at this one.
*trashes my 'Hungry kpop boys' folder.....*

From Stormy's 'Hungry Kpop Boys' folder
There are many kinds of hunger in the kpop world,
the hunger to win, to succeed, to learn a new dance step.
"because taemin is always still growing up, he gets hungry easily. so he will wake those people who are asleep up to cook sea otter for him. because he's a friend i love so i will do it for him many times."

Infinite's Sungjong to this day hides food in bedroom.
As was seen during 'Sesame Player' Sungjong hides food in his bag and draws in his bedroom. The members often tease him about his pre-debut days when the CEO wouldn't let him eat after 6PM.
(Sungjong actually lived with the CEO pre-debut)
In this episode the boys take a little time off from practice and Leader Sunggyu orders some chicken for them, but is ultimatley caught by one of their managers who actually takes the food away from them. >.>

It seems to be common practice for idols to not eat after 6PM as when SHINee guested on 'Flower Boy Generation' and wouldn't eat the snacks the MC's bought for them.
Lastly I have this tweet from one of the Block B boys tweeting that despite being exhausted he is so hungry he can't sleep and dreams of the day he can eat all the food he wants.
Honestly I cried after reading this......my Omma heart just wants to feed all these poor hungry boys healthy food that wont make them fat or make their faces bloat.
Growing, exercising, dancing young boys need food for energy with all the intense practice they do.......not to mention the killer schedules they must follow.
Hot where you are? It has not been too bad yet where I live, in fact, it's suppose to get kinda chilly tonight here, in the 50's! I might try a few of these when it gets really hot though.
Block B & B1A4 share tips on surviving the summer heat
On July 8th, Block B and B1A4 guested on MTV’s ‘The Show‘ and were briefly interviewed on their summer survival tips.
The two groups are currently co-starring in their own reality program, ‘Match Up‘, and are known for their contrasting personalities. B1A4 gave some four-dimensional responses like telling fans to shower in hot water, to which Block B’s P.O. retorted, “You have to shower with cold water!” Sandeul also suggested finding a cold wall to lay against while Baro and Gongchan suggested cold food items like watermelon and shaved ice. Kyung brought out the envy of fans by saying, “The best way to survive the heat is to go to the beach and play with the nunas.”

On May 20th, Block B guested on MTV Korea’s new interview segment of their music program, “Let Me Show“, and shared stories of their past and cleared up some rumors.
Leader Zico revealed that he had studied abroad in Japan for three years in order to prepare for art school before picking up music as a hobby. He also cleared up rumors of him being an SM Entertainment trainee for SHINee and revealed that although he did go through the casting and camera testing process, he was not a potential member of SHINee. Ulzzang member Jaehyo showed off his talents as a casting manager by revealing that he was the one that introduced Junhyung to Cube Entertainment and Lee Joon to J. Tune Camp. MaknaeP.O. addressed the hateful replies he’s been receiving for his low voice, which people thought was similar to T.O.P., by pretending to tear up in agony.
Concluding the interview, Block B revealed that they hoped to continue honing their production skills and expand from producing their own music to covering everything from style to choreography in the future as self-producing idols.
