INFINITE for Cosmopolitan - Interview & Photoshoot - BTS Video
Sources: allkpop & DAUM“We want to stay together as seven”
by jae.lea.jun
INFINITE participated in a sporty photo shoot as well as an interview for the August edition of Cosmopolitan.
The members are currently dealing with a busy schedule due to their upcoming 5-day concert starting on August 8th. When asked whether they were tired from concert preparations and their otherwise hectic schedule, the INFINITE members stated that they received a lot of strength from fans. Tickets for the concert sold out in 15 minutes.
During the interview, Hoya commented on leader Sunggyu, who’s been receiving attention for his powerful vocals and variety skills, “He is an amazing leader with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership. Even if his pronunciation may be off sometimes.” Sungjong added, “He used to be scary when we were trainees, but not anymore. As leader, he tries to brighten up the mood at times by making jokes, but sometimes his jokes get out of hand and affect tempers.”
Woohyun discussed the members’ attitude about dating: “It’s difficult for all of us because we’re not the types to go up and talk to someone first. Although we may be at the age [to want to be in relationships], we’re just too busy. We’re enduring with the love from our fans.”
The INFINITE members also unanimously agreed that they each have the same dream, “We hope to always stay as seven and grow as musicians [together].”
The full interview will be revealed in the August edition of Cosmopolitan.

Viewers praise L’s acting abilities on ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band’
by leesa86Source:allkpop
L of boy group INFINITE is captivating his TV audience.
L is showcasing his natural acting abilities in his current tvN drama, ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band (written by Seo Yoon Hee, directed by Lee Kwon). On the February 14th episode, L put on a very convincing performance. On the episode, L hurt his hand while running to attend a rock festival, but he still managed to put on a passionate performance on stage for his audience. He rushed to get to the festival for Byung Hee (played by Lee Minki), and though his hand was dripping with blood, he was passionately playing the guitar and only focused on his performance so that the show would be successful.
After the show, L runs into Kim Yerim and it seems as though he is trying to suppress his emotions that surface upon seeing her. Instead of telling her how he feels, he is extremely cold to her, frustrating the viewers watching from home.
With his cold stare and natural acting abilities, L properly conveys the personality of his character, Lee Hyun Soo. When he poured his heart out to Kim Yerim in the drama, his emotions were effectively delivered and viewers who could sense his sincerity praised his acting skills. At the time the scene was being filmed, the staff members were blown away with his ability to focus.
“I think I started showing you Hyun Soo’s true colors from the 6th episode,” he said. “I studied up on a lot of things in order to shoot scenes on stage. Please look forward the story as it continues to unfold.”
Meanwhile, ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band’s is 16-episode mini series about the members of a high school rock band and their experiences with love and friendship. It airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00PM KST.

L certainly has been doing an awesome job, I knew he would.
Actually 'Flower Boy Band' has been an awesome drama all the way around.
The one thing I can say for sure about the writers is they got cliff hanger down!
Seems like I wind up gulping air at the end of every episode!
The Eye Candy is not bad either ^.~

Tickets to INFINITE’s Japan concert sell out in ten minutes & INFINITE’s L: “I am not a flower boy” PLUS Bonus LJong Video!
Infinite! Infinite! Infinite! Infinite!
by jae.lea.jungSource:allkpop
INFINITE‘s increasing popularity has been confirmed through the quick sales of their Japanese concert tickets!
Recently, the tickets to their Japanese concert (‘Second Invasion Japan Tokyo’) went up for pre-sale for INFINITE’s Japanese fan club members.
Although these pre-sale tickets were only open to those in their official fan club, the concert was sold out completely without any additional public sales in just 10 minutes. With the tickets selling out so quickly, an additional concert date was requested by the many fans who weren’t able to grab one for themselves.
Having made their official Japanese debut in November, 2011 with ‘BTD (Before the Dawn)‘, the group announced its plans to hold two consecutive concerts at the Tokyo International Forum Hall with a total of 10,000 seats ( with 5,000 seats per concert). Although some had voiced their uncertainties about whether the group would be able to fill up the concert hall so early on into debut, they were silenced when the tickets were sold out in such a short amount of time.
INFINITE’s ‘Second Invasion Japan Tokyo’ concerts are scheduled to be held on Febrary 25th and 26th.

Wow! Impressive! BUT I'm not surprised, Infinite has worked tirelessly for this!

by d0rkyk0r3an
INFINITE’s L has been causing quite the stir with his recent statement, “I don’t think I’m a flower boy.”
On January 25th, L attended the press conference for his new tvN drama, ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band‘, at the CGV Cheongdam Cine City. During the conference, reporters asked L for his thoughts on his looks.L laughed as he replied, “All of my fellow cast members are so handsome and beautiful that I don’t consider myself to be a flower boy.”The answer raised some eyebrows, as L is known to be the ‘visual member’ of INFINITE. That reputation will live on through tvN’s ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band’, where L plays an extremely talented guitarist in the fictional pretty-boy band, ‘Eye Candy’.
L shyly confessed, “To be honest, shooting the scene was my first time playing an electric guitar.” He continued, “I will practice hard to show a more professional side for the drama” and “I will deliver a guitarist with a strong sense of character.”
This will be L’s first time acting in his home country (he previously made his acting debut in a Japanese production), and therefore, L expressed that he’s really anxious about the results.
L said, “The INFINITE members were all very concerned for me and asked me, ‘Do you think you can do it?’”
He continued, “The hyungs that I am working with in the drama have been a big help to me. I want to show a cool side of myself by working hard on my acting.”
L also revealed his thoughts about working with ‘Superstar K3’ contestant Kim Ye Rim. “First of all, I have never met Kim Ye Rim before. I am really curious though.” L continued with a laugh, “I’m looking forward to meeting her. I wonder what her personality is like, what she would say, and how she is going to approach me.”
In the drama, L will be involved in a love triangle with Yoo Min Kyu and Kim Ye Rim’s characters.
‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band’ will be about a high school rock band called Eye Candy, who are comprised of flower boys with rough personalities. It is a passionate drama about youths’ experience with love, friendship and music; it will air its first episode on January 30th.

Infinite Opens Up About Their Recent Success
by: JinaStar on Oct 17, 2011Source:SOOMPI
Recently, idol group Infinite has taken many small and big victories, earning them the nickname “trend-dol.” They have grasped the higher ranks of various music charts through their previous title track “Be Mine” and their follow-up track “Paradise,” as well as scoring first place in Mnet’s M!Countdown twice and in SBS “Inkigayo” once with the two songs. In an interview, media site enews24 meets with the excited members of Infinite.
Leader Sung Gyu opened up by saying, “I’m thankful for the large amount of love we’re receiving these days. It has been a year and four months since our debut, and we’re very thankful to the fans who’ve loved us continuously."
Currently, these “trend-dols” are working hard in Japan as well. Having held a showcase in Japan in July, they have also successfully held a solo concert. In November, it has been announced that they will release an official Japanese album. Although Infinite is a rare ‘purely Korean’ group with none of the members having overseas experience, they have worked that much harder for an international debut. As of now, the members have studied the Japanese language hard enough that it has become possible for them to converse in basic Japanese.
Member Jang Dongwoo stated, “In international activities, language is important, but the performances onstage are more important. For Infinite, our perfectly synchronized group dance is our strong point- even going as so far to earn us the nickname ‘group dance-dol’. I think foreign fans, including Japanese fans, like that part of us.”
Infinite belongs to a label that is not idol-specic, Woolim Entertainment, which had modern rock band Nell as well as hip-hop group Epik High. Leader Sunggyu has been known to have joined the company to take part in a band, rather than an idol group like Infinite. As their beginning was rather different from the typical idol, the members also hold a great hunger for music as well. Infinite members revealed their greed for music with, “We’re currently taking instrument lessons such as the guitar.”
Infinite has been known for not having malicious rumors about them since their debut. There were also no problems with the members. When asked the reason, Infinite replied with a laugh, “We think it’s because we just alternated between the practice room and our dorm.” Member Nam Woohyun also said, “Since we did not have time where we put down activities, there was no time to take a break. We don’t even have enough time to practice. It’s impossible to partake in personal cultural activities. That’s why it’s harder to be involved in a scandal.”
Woohyun also continued, “When we went to Japan’s Niigata for a performance, we couldn’t rent a practice room so we secretly practiced once in the lobby. That’s how much the members are absorbed in their practices.”
This year’s goal for Infinite is to receive the Rookie of the Year award, as well as first place on the Oricon charts with their upcoming Japanese album. Regarding this, Dongwoo said, “There are some award ceremonies that count the release of the first official full-length album as the group’s debut, and they hand the Rookie award out accordingly to those groups. Now that we’ve experienced first place on a music program, we’re hungering for the Rookie award.”
Now having thrown off their rookie aura and stepping onto a steady path, Infinite leaves these resolve-strengthening statements as parting words, “We’ll meet again with the public with new music. We’ll become singers that get loved with music that can agree with all generations.”
Infinite certainly is on the fast tract as far as rookies go.
The likes of which hasn't been seen since SHINee debuted.
I would love to see them win a Rookie Award this year.
They have indeed worked hard enough for it!
Fighting my babies ^.^
