INFINITE member L shed some emotional tears after reading a letter from his mother.
During a recording for an episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Birth Of A Family‘, L who saw his mother for the first time in a long while left everyone on the filming set in tears.
L’s mother had come to the INFINITE dormitory along with Dongwoo‘s mother to cook traditional ‘rice cake soup’ for the boys in celebration of New Year’s.
But the way Dongwoo and L reacted when their mothers walked in the door was completely different.
Dongwoo who is the ‘maknae of his family showed his mom some ‘aegyo‘ by giving her kisses on the cheek as soon as he laid eyes on her, while L who is the eldest in the family remained quiet and reserved.
L who normally does not express his inner emotions maintained his distance, so much to the point that the mother who was expecting a warm welcome looked very obviously hurt and disappointed.
But once he read the letter that his mom wrote for him, L suddenly burst into hot tears and his mother and his members who were watching also began tearing, as well as each of the staff members on set.
This episode of ‘Birth Of A Family’ airs on January 14th at 5:05PM KST.

Shin Seung Hun, Baek Ji Young, Kang Ta, and Leessang‘s Gil are joining forces to find the top musicians in the country. Mnet‘s ‘Voice Korea‘ stated on the 10th that Shin Seung Hun, Baek Ji Young, Kang Ta, and Gil have been confirmed as the four coaches for the new program.
“We worked hard to put together four of Korea’s top musicians that possess their own unique talents,” they said.
Legendary singer Shin Seung Hun remarked, “I liked that I would be able to become a music coach for hopefuls and help them bring out their unique colors and grow as musicians. I hope that this program will be helpful in finding some of the best musicians in the country.”
Each of the coaches will become a team with their contestants and put on an audition. A representative from the program stated, “What’s unique about this program is that instead of judges, there are coaches. The coaches will be able to take the contestants under their wing and help them become the best.”
‘Voice Korea’ is the Korean version of the famous music survival program, ‘The Voice‘. The coaches will judge the contestants based on their singing talents alone, without being able to see their appearance or stage performances.

Omo, Korean TV this winter is going to be interesting!
I really hope this new show is good because as you all know, my friends and fans,
Music is my life, and 'The Voice' is one of the few American TV shows that I turn away from my computer, put down my hand phone and turn up the volume for.
The fact that singers are chosen by voice alone and not looks was a crazy premise!
but it work! it worked like crazy! I really hope this show rocks!
MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘ has announced that they will be switching out their current couples.
In a recent recording, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, Donghae, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun had a blind date with four actresses to decide who the next couple will be.
A representative of MBC revealed, “We’re not sure how many new couples are going to be added, but two pairs became a couple from the blind date. We’ll be showing the dating process before they join the show as an official couple.”
The representative continued, “With the addition of these new couples, I think that we will be switching out the original couples as well. The Park So Hyun-Kim Won Joon couple and Lee Jang Woo-Ham Eunjung couple will soon be departing from the show.” Leeteuk and Kang Sora are also on the departing list since Kang Sora has ‘Dream High 2‘ recordings to focus on, while Leeteuk is preparing for military enlistment this year.
A producer of ‘We Got Married’ stated, “The response towards the current couples aren’t bad at all. We know that adding in a bunch of new couples will be looked on upon badly so we’re going to start right from the beginning and see how it goes from there. The exact time frame of when we’ll be switching out the couples has yet to be decided.”
