SHINee,TVXQ, KARA & SNSD confirmed for Japan’s “Red and White Singing Battle”

SNSD, KARA and TVXQ have been confirmed for this year’s NHK‘s “Red and White Singing Battle” (Kōhaku Uta Gassen).
Japan’s Sankei Sports and other newspapers reported that SNSD and KARA will join the list of attendees for the first time and TVXQ will be attending for the group’s third time in a row.
This is an annual event held in Japan. At this event, fifty singers and groups come on, split up into the Red team and the White team and sing their heart out.
Sankei Sports said, “It was already big news that Korean stars Jang Geuk Suk, Supernova, 2PM and SHINee would be performing at the event, [so it's exciting that] SNSD, KARA and TVXQ have been confirmed as well.”

10,000 Japanese fans gather for INFINITE’s album release event! INFINITE debuts at #2 on Oricon Charts!

On November 18th, INFINITE held an event commemorating the release of their Japanese debut single, “BTD”.
In addition to a press conference held with major Japanese media outlets, the boys also put on performances for the 10,000 fans that had gathered to witness the event.
Five tracks in total were performed, including “BTD”, “Can You Smile”, “Be Mine”, “Paradise”, and “Nothing’s Over”. Their “scorpion dance” from “BTD” had made a particularly big impression on both the fans and reporters at the event.

After the mini concert, INFINITE held a ‘High Touch’ event with the fans, which gave fans a chance to see the boys up close, and a chance for the members to express their gratitude.
Overcome by emotion, some fans were seen shedding tears of joy after the event.

INFINITE debuts at #2 on Oricon Chart

After gathering 10,000 fans to commemorate the release of their Japanese debut single, “BTD”, the boys of INFINITE have more reasons to celebrate as “BTD” debuted at number 2 on the Oricon Daily Chart.
“BTD” sold a total of 15,281 units on the first day which was just behind Not Yet and their single “PERA PERA PERAO“.
Congratulations to INFINITE on this achievement.

Infinite's Hoya shows off Jolie from new TV show 'Birth of a Family'

Earlier, we reported that INFINITE and A Pink would be starring in a new animal variety show called ‘Birth of a Family’.
On November 1st, INFINITE’s Hoya gave fans a sneak peek into the show by revealing the new member of their family, Jolie. Hoya tweeted, “With Jolie!!! During the filming of ‘Birth of a Family’..hehe.”
The adorable puppy will be living with the members of INFINITE for the next 8 weeks until a permanent home for Jolie is found.
Stay tuned for the first episode, which will airon November 12th!

Infinite gets ready to storm Japan! Starts a new TV show and releases Paradise studio video!

Busy Infinite is busy!

Earlier, it was reported that KBS’s ‘SECRET’ would be coming to an end and replaced by an animal variety show.
Although it was announced earlier that the show would be titled, ‘My Pet’, the name has since been changed to ‘Birth of a Family’.
The new show will document various idol groups taking care of abandoned animals for 8 weeks or so – until the animal is adopted by a new family. In addition, the show will also feature rare animals that are not commonly seen in the company of people. The show hopes to raise awareness about issues involving animal neglect. It hopes that by bringing in celebrities on the show to care after these animals, they may help increase awareness and capture the hearts of citizens. As the celebrities laugh and cry raising these animals, the show hopes to inspire citizens to take a deeper interest in abandoned and homeless animals.
MBLAQ and APink were announced as the first idol groups up to take part in the upcoming show. However, due to scheduling issues, MBLAQ has now been replaced by INFINITE.
INFINITE and APink will become the first idol groups to participate in the show emceed by Boom, Lee Hui Jae, and Kim Byung Man.  The first day of filming will start on November 1st, and the first episode will air on November 12th.

The boys of INFINITE wrapped up their promotions for their repackaged full-length album in Korea, putting on their last performance on SBS‘ Inkigayo on the 30th.

Their next plans are to focus completely on Japanese promotions for the time being, dominating with their trendy music and lethal dance moves.

A representative from INFINITE’s management team remarked, “The boys will be performing on stages in Japan for the remainder of the year. They will be a lot busier than the last time we were in Japan, being featured on more TV programs and holding many more fan meet and greets.”

INFINITE who has made their mark in the K-pop scene only a year after debuting with songs like “Be Mine“, and “PARADISE” are now crossing over to take on the Japanese music industry by storm.

The boys will be performing their hit songs”Before the Dawn“, as well as “Can You Smile” which will be released on November 19th.

Member ‘L‘ is also featuring on a popular Japanese drama and has already built a good fan base which should only work to INFINITE’s advantage when they begin their promotions.
