Boy group B1A4 was recently selected to be the new parents on season 6 of KBS JOY‘s ‘Hello Baby‘.
At a press conference for the show that took place on July 24th, producer Lim Yong Hyun explained why B1A4 was selected for the program, stating, “B1A4 is a boy group that consists of members who come from a rural area [as opposed to Seoul], and the show will not only follow the established format of the care and growth of the children, but also unveil the members’ journey into Seoul and the road they took to become Hallyu stars. I hope that everyone will look forward to the growth and development of the children, as well as the growth of the members. With this thought, I believed they would be a perfect fit for the role.”
Lim continued confidently, “All of the previous idol groups appeared on ‘Hello Baby’ when they were in the process of reaching the next important step in their career. The program became a helpful boost in that goal. I’m not bragging, but I do have pride when it comes to the show. Each of the groups have grown a lot more since appearing on the program.”
“B1A4 is in a similar situation,” Lim added. “They are in the middle of preparing for their promotions in Japan, and they have much potential to become bigger Hallyu stars. They are well-known in Korea, and we casted them because we look forward to high viewer ratings. I’ve watched B1A4′s music video and I liked it. I’m content with our choice.”
B1A4 also commented on their selection as the next group for the show, “We’ve watched many sunbae idol groups on the show and it seemed like a lot of fun. All of our members love kids. We may not become dads in the near feature, but we will definitely approach the show with father-like hearts.”
Meanwhile, ‘Hello Baby’ first aired in 2009 and featured artists such as Girls’ Generation, SHINee, T-ara, Super Junior, SISTAR, MBLAQ, and more.
‘Hello Baby’ season 6 will begin airing on July 25th.

B1A4 to be Daddies! On Season 6 of 'Hello Baby!'

Boy group B1A4 has been cast as the main characters of KBS‘s variety show ‘Hello Baby’ Season 6!
On July 5th, KBS’s CP Lim Yong Hyun reported that B1A4 has started the photo shoot for their ‘Hello Baby’ season 6 profile shots. The soon-to-be-fathers are preparing for this season’s concept of “Hello Family’s Seoul Sightseeing”.
Lim Yong Hyun clarified, “The plan is to have B1A4 along with two children aged five years old, to travel around Seoul in order to embark on the process of mastering [and fully understanding] the city.”
In this season of ‘Hello Baby’, two 5-year-old “babies” will be participating. As they are respectively from the Gyeongsang and Jeolla provinces, the two children, with their regional accents and sweet personalities, are expected to bring a new kind of entertainment to the show.
‘Hello Baby’ is a show that revolves around the concept of idols and stars gaining experience in taking care of babies and children. This baby care program has gathered much interest over the years, as it has featured celebrities such as Girls’ Generation, SHINee, T-ara, SISTAR, and MBLAQ thus far.
‘Hello Baby’s sixth season with B1A4 will start broadcasting on July 25th.

Oh I'm all excited for the new season, not cause I like B1A4 exactly,

but more because the producers are changing things up a bit by casting male groups twice in a row, forgoing the female then male format.

Not that I dislike the Mommy version groups, but lets face it, watching young guys try to deal with babies is far more interesting and entertaining!

I'm kinda hoping the producers have realized this cause there are some rookies out there I would LOVE to see on 'Hello Baby'.

SHINee's season of course was and is my favorite followed closely by MBLAQ's

(sorry LeeTeuk but Sistar's season was a dismal failure ((funniest part was watching him try to change a diaper). Can you imagine Niel or CAP trying to deal with a baby??? Or better yet! Ren??? NO wait! Kimchi??? Omo *gonkface*

I'd say Infinite but they already did 'Birth of a Family'. I know I know that was puppies but what can I say? It's pretty similar and was just as touching.

MBLAQ confirmed for season five of ‘Hello Baby’!

MBLAQ has been confirmed as the new stars of the fifth season of KBS Joy‘s ‘Hello Baby‘!
Scheduled to begin airing by the end of the month, ‘Hello Baby’ has had stars like SNSD, SHINee, T-ara, and SISTAR band together to raise one special baby.
On January 5th, MBLAQ’s representatives revealed, “The members all love children so they were called in for a new season. Mir and G.O. especially have nephews and nieces so they have a lot of interest in raising children. We hope that the program shows off the members’ individual charms.”
MBLAQ will begin recording for the first time this week, in addition to their fourth mini-album comeback.

Can I just say how excited I am about this???

THIS.....this will be a really good season of 'Hello Baby' and I think its just what MBLAQ needs to launch themselves on to a higher plane.

They need this.....WE need this!

‘Super Junior's Leeteuk and SISTAR’s Hello Baby' Yay! A new season of "Hello Baby!"

Did YOU know there was a new season of Hello Baby! in the works?

 Awww the baby looks so cute! ^.^

Kinda tough to find it amidst all the other drama going on right now but this show has always been one of my favorites, though SHINee's Hello Baby! was the best so far to my way of thinking.
We fans almost got our wish! Ever since SHINee's show everyone has been screaming for another 'Appa' season and the group most mentioned by far has been Super Junior.
I guess the powers that be over at KBS must have paid attention, though I think they could have listened a little better, none the less we have Super Junior's revered leader as the in house appa and the girls of SISTAR as the moms so it should prove to be quite interesting, especially when Leeteuk goes rummaging through the girls rooms! 0.0

The first episode is due to air Sept 2nd so stay tuned!
I guess we can hope for a few 'guest appearances'  from the rest of the Super Junior boys.
I wonder if Leeteuk will be changing any diapers........O.o
