The Last 48 Hours....Bits and Pieces...Odds and Ends.
Okies so since my Holiday break, there were a few small things going on, lots more pics from the Idol Sports Show since the videos were just released, the MBC Lunar New Year Show, which I was not all that impressed with, thats where Onew and Key wound up at and a few other odds and ends. And though I have mostly made peace with Taemin, I still just can't bring myself to look at him the same right now. I probable never will either lol, Anyway, moving right along, I am just going to post up somethings quick for the sake of info and leave it at that so I can enjoy the last of the Holiday. Oh except of course I will also be posting the weekend audio song.

Men in swimsuits! Yyaaaaahhhh well kinda lmao, long legged and most with Tshirts on as well. And Minho steals almost the whole show, winning Gold in the Mens Freestyle 50 meter. Almost all my fav's are here! Infinite in the house! Teen Top in the house! Shinee and MBLAQ in the House!!! Well I did get that Holiday break after all, though not the way I wanted, but thats another story....
MuCore returns and the promoting goes on.
Just back from his win on SBS's King of Idols, first up is SeungRi with VVIP. He touchingly shed a few tears upon being voted King of Idols because he was not sure what his reception would be by other groups, but was very thankful that they all "watched over him". A not quite as theatrical performance this week, but still good.
Changmin, whats up with the hair this week? O.o

My baby pinggers what an awesome performance on MBC's Lunar New Year Show, the best! Sungjong <3 My recent viewing of their show "Midnight Idols" made me love them all the more ^.^ Nice change up of the "Scorpion Dance"
This weeks "Something Completely Different" is Dal Shabet with Supa Dupa Diva, I like their modernized hanboks and the song does not make me want to run to the dentist for a too sweet performance like most girl groups do, not to mention, I'm VERY sure we will be seeing Key perform this real soon! ^.^

MBC's Lunar New Year Star Dance Battle Rocked the House! Stellar Performances! Best of the Best!
Aigoooooo!!! So much for my Holiday break! But what better way to break it than with MBC's Lunar New Year Special "Star Dance Battle" Show! All I can say is "Stellar Performances!"
Once again I am linking you to allkpop because there are just too many vids to post here on my humble little blog, but DO take the time to go over to allkpop and watch, you wont be disappoint! I promise!^.^
Though every single performance is worth watching, just for the star audience shots alone, let me recommend some rounds of my favs. Be sure to watch all the Round results too, as some are just as funny as the performances.
Round 5
This round is Jewelry (“Funny” + ‘Whacking’ **a type of dance**) VS. TEEN TOP (trot medley). Teen Top performance of "Shy Boy" had me laughing my butt off, they start out in black hoodies which are soon shed to reveal cute girl outfits that seem to suit Niel and Ricky to a "T" Poor CAP though...he is just not suited for this kekekekekekekeke! ^.^
Round 7
ZE:A (‘Performance’ + “Mackerel” **by Kwanghee) VS. INFINITE (“Baby” + “Like a G6″)
ZE:A is worth watching for their fur embellished skeletal hoodies alone, however their performance is awesome too.
AWWww my poor baby pinggers Infinite dance to the Beilb...Boobile....yeah..you know who I mean >.< AND one of MY few American fav songs G6, off come the hoodies on go the shades and OMO! Its the Scorpion Dance move!!!! Sungjung, you are SERIOUSLY knocking on the door to my heart! DO NOT MISS the Round Results video for this battle as its one of the best. Sungjung vs ZE:A in an aegyo battle, ZE:A responds with some athletics, but CAN'T be beat by Infinites Scorpion dance move, they try! But no, sorry boys, you are not up to it! Spoiler Alert! They wind up in a tie, well done my babies! Well done! ^.^
And now to my final recommendation.
Round 9
MBLAQ (“Smooth Criminal” + “Hip Song“) VS. Park Jung Min (“We No Speak Americano“) Awww My Blaqies....they could have used a bit more energy in this performance but G.O. and Joonie really shine here as they transition from Smooth Criminal into Rain's Hip Song, the best part? The Hip song grind, Omo Joonie, you do so love to grind >.<....to the right.....to the left....Unf!
Now I am not a big fan of trot...but Jung Min's performance is just....daebak! And believe me, this is NOT a word I use lightly. Don't miss the "kiss" ending with Han Groo as its caused quite the stir on the interwebs. Not sure how MBLAQ won this round but, I'll take it! Yeah MBLAQ!!! I guess the judges like Rain and that works in my little world! ^.^
I'm not sure why none of SME was there, I'm a little disappoint but, there were enough other fabulous performances to keep me more than happy. So once again, head on over to Allkpop and enjoy this awesome "Star Dance Battle!"
And now for my new fav corner "The Best of the Best"
Other than Rain's songs, SHINee's album songs are all my fav, I can listen to every one and love them for some reason. Now I must add another group to that very small list because I happened upon some of Infinite's other songs from their album Evolution. Hysterie I listened to while doing other things and I must say, I kept getting distracted and stopping to listen to it. That doesn't happen often. Now Hysterie is no Before the Dawn to be sure, buts not a bad second.

I always love to hear a ballad from a new group as you can really tell what their voices are doing and Voice of my Heart shows off some fine vocals and harmony.

King of Idols, King of the World Rain and a Secret Garden
Ahhh due to the holiday, there really wasn't much happening in the Kpop world, and quite frankly I welcomed the rest as much as the celebrities did LOL! Though truthfully I kinda didn't know what to do with myself.
So I started to watch Secret Garden, half way through the first episode I realized just how much I missed watching dramas, its been a while since something sounded good enough to lure me back to the drama world, Rain's Fugitive Plan B (which I HIGHLY recommend btw ^.^) was the last I watched. I am looking forward to the rest of Secret Garden, its quite interesting so far.
Allkpop has posted the show SBS's King of Idols, now I know most of us have already seen way too much of this through fancams, but the videos of the show are the best!
I was actually going to post them all here, but there are 11 of them, and they are not subbed yet and CrazyCarrot tends to "private" their vids rather quickly, so instead I will link you up, hope you get to see them in time and enjoy them a lot! As to the subbing, even if you only understand a few words of Korean you will get along just fine, mostly you can tell whats going on anyway as they are dancing, wrestling and well, we have all seen the still pics too. I have spent the morning/afternoon watching and laughing so hard I woke the TStorm up >.< (not really, she was already up and watching her own thing online) All the fav's are here, Onew and Minho wrestle each other, don't miss Onew's couple dance with Goo Hara, 2PM wrestle each other too, oh there is just too much GO! Watch now! Enjoy! ^.^

Okay Okay I lied >.< I forgot that Marry Me Mary was the last kdrama I watched, sooo sorry Sukkie, which I ALSO highly recommend *mung mung* ^.^

Source:allkpopRain to perform with cellist Jan Vogler in Germany!
It’s a collision of two worlds!
Hallyu superstar Rain will perform with world-renown cellist, Jan Vogler, on May 21st during this year’s ‘Dresden Music Festival‘.
Although the event’s official site doesn’t give away too many details about their performance, we do know that Rain will be both singing and dancing, and the joint performance is being billed as an “East meets West” type of exhibition. The event will be held at Dresden’s Semper Opera House.
It’s also listed that the sponsor is MCM, the very same upscale German handbag manufacturer whose London store Rain made a special appearance in not too long ago.
